In a world of data centric marketing, the human element has gone missing and with it, public trust. We film to redeem trust.
FILM + (STORY + AUTHENTICITY) = ACTION
OUR GOAL IS TO BUILD LONG LASTING TRUST THROUGH WELL TOLD STORIES.
A 2018 poll encompassing the U.S., Australia, and the UK shows 86% of consumers are fed up with inauthentic content. Let that sink in.
The same poll also showed most consumers know when they’re being manipulated. So we encourage every business, brand, and organization to evaluate if their marketing leans on exaggeration and sensationalism versus meaningful motivation. “What are we doing to show real impact and results?” “What are we doing to show people we genuinely care about the community?” Stories. We’ll help you find and film them.
THE HUMAN MIND IS A STORY PROCESSOR, NOT A LOGIC PROCESSOR.
Ever get lost in a story? Neuroimaging shows there are two powerful elements at play. One is narrative transportation which influences perspective, beliefs, and actions by transporting viewers into a story. The other is character identification, which happens when we take the perspective of a character, as though we are experiencing the story through their eyes.
Stories help us feel the feelings projected. Check out the infographic below for the historical, scientific, and quantifiable impact of story on people.
THE BEST WAY TO TELL A REALLY GOOD STORY IS WITH A REALLY GOOD FILM.
People love watching videos. When we watch videos, our brain chemistry drastically changes. The intellect is bypassed (“suspension of disbelief”) which means we’re exposing the heart to the message and imagery while limiting criticism, predisposition, or bias. Powerful stuff.
And, film engages our strongest motivators – visuals and sound. We can greatly affect someone’s mood or spur them to action with the right combo of audio and video. Add an authentic story, and people are compelled to empathize, care, and act.
